Bauljuri peak is located at the outer rim of the restricted Nandadevi sanctuary in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand state. In ancient times, it was considered as s pair of two bulls ( Baul = bull; Juri= a pair) ready to plough the fields. Enjoy a climbing expedition via the Pindari Valley. Stay beside the Nanda Devi temple during the base camp route and trek the riverside Pindari River. Climb the peak for magnificent views of the Himalaya, including Panwali Dwar (6663 meters), Nanda Khat (6611 meters ), Changuch (6322 m ), Nanda Kot (6861 m), the origin of the Famous Pindari Glacier.

Short Itinerary

  • Day 1: Reach Bageshwar- Nearest Railway station: Kathgodam.
  • Day 2: Move for RH Kharkiya. And stay at Dwali Camp. (220 kms,9-10 hrs drive & 1 hrs trek.)
  • Day 3: Dwali to Pindari glacier base camp, 3565 meters. (6-7 hrs)
  • Day 4: Contingency day / Acclimatization walk around base camp.– 1-2 hrs
  • Day 5: Trek & ferry to advance camp on Buria ridge 4100 mtrs & back to Base camp (6-7 hrs)
  • Day 6: Climbing day. (6-7 hrs)
  • Day 7: Climbing day for load ferry & occupy camp. (4-5 hrs)
  • Day 8: Trek & ferry to Bauljuri col camp 5400 mtrs & back to Intermediate camp. (7-8 hrs)
  • Day 9: Occupy Col camp (7-8 hrs)
  • Day 10: Climbing day. Max height gain 5922 mtrs (Max 8 hrs)
  • Day 11: Back to Base camp (7 hrs)
  • Day 12: Base Camp to Khati & drive to Bageshwar (6-7 hrs).

Inclusions:

  1. Meals: All meals Bageshwar to Bageshwar & during the trek.

  2. Permits: Forest permits and camping charges for all designated areas.

  3. Accommodation: Any type of hotel accommodation if required.

  4. Support Staff: Experienced trek guides, cooks, helpers, mules/porters for common equipment.

  5. Expedition Leader: Certified IMF-approved leader.

  6. Porterage:  Porterage of all supplies & personal baggage of not more than 20 kgs.

  7. Technical Gear: Ice axe, crampons, helmet, PP ropes, snow stakes, mountaineering boots, etc.

  8. Transport: Bageshwar railway station to Bageshwar railway station.

 


Exclusions:

  1. Personal portage charges for individual luggage.

  2. Any costs arising from early departure from the expedition.

  3. Any extra costs incurred caused in the event of finishing the expedition early.

  4. Expenses of personal nature like laundry, phone calls, beverages, insurance & tips.

  5. Costs arising from early departure or early completion of expedition.

  6. Any cost arising out of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, landslides, road
    condition and any other circumstances beyond our control.
