Short Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival at Kathgodam & drive from Kathgodam to Chaukori. Overnight stay in Chaukori.
• Day 2: Drive from Chaukori to Munsyari. Munsyari local sightseeing & visit Nandadevi temple. Overnight stay in Munsyari.
• Day 3: Munsyari to road head Rargari 2000 meters & trek to Bogudiyar 2600 meters / Naherdevi.Overnight stay in tents.
• Day 4: Bogudiyar/ Naherdevi to Rilkot 3200 mtrs. (5-6 hrs walk)
• Day 5: Rilkot to Ganghar village 3400 mtrs. (5-6 hrs walk)
• Day 6: Ganghar to Panchu Base Camp 4150 mtrs. (4-5 hrs walk) 
• Day 7: Exploration day. (4-5 hrs walk)
• Day 8: Base camp to Martoli Village. (5-6 hrs walk)
• Day 9: Martoli to Laspa Village. (4-5 hrs walk)
• Day 10: Laspa village to Bogudiyar& drive to Munsyari. (4-5 hrs walk)
• Day 11: Munsyari to Kathgodam. (6-7 hrs walk)

Nandadevi Base Camp (Paanchu Glacier) 4150 Meters

The spectacular amphitheatre of 7000 metre peaks of the upper Johar Valley of Trisuli, Hardeol, and Nanda Devi East lie near to a point where the borders of India, Nepal, and Tibet converge. This adventurous trek follows part of the old trading route to Tibet, following the Gori Ganga River. From the road head, beyond Munsiyari, we follow a well defined trail along through the narrow valley to the village of Ganghar. We explore the area around the Paanchu Glacier, where we ascend through high alpine valleys to the Nanda Devi East base camp.

Inclusions:

1. Meals: All meals during the trip (Munsyari to Munsyari)..

2. Permits: Forest permits and camping charges for all designated areas.

3. Accommodation:  Kitchen, dining & member tents two / three share basis. Hotel accommodation at Munsyari.

4. Support Staff: Experienced trek guides, cooks, helpers, mules/porters for common equipment.

5. Expedition Leader: Certified IMF-approved leader.

6. Transport: Round-trip transport from Dehradun to Gangotri and back.

7. Technical Gear: Ice axe, crampons, helmet, PP ropes, snow stakes, mountaineering boots, etc.

8. Transport: Local land transport of members as per the itinerary (Munsyari to Munsyari).
9. porter : Mules or porter services.

Exclusions:

1. Personal portage charges for individual luggage.

2. Travel insurance of any kind.

3. Personal expenses like snacks, drinks, phone calls, etc.

4. Any expenses not specifically mentioned in the inclusions.

5. Costs arising from early departure or early completion of the expedition.

6. Extra services like laundry, hot water, etc.

7. Tips for porters or local staff.

8. Offloading of personal bags.
9. Any extra costs incurred caused in the event of finishing the expedition early

Note: offloading of personal baggage ( 10 kg maximum per person) can be arranged at INR 300/- per baggage per day.
